Golf clubs on Southwest

Has anyone taken their golf clubs when flying with Southwest Airlines? Do they charge for this? I see that they don't charge for up to two bags of luggage. I wonder if the clubs would be considered one of my two bags.

Yes you can send golf clubs and they are considered one of the two allowed bags..
