Couple of questions:
One, will it be warm enough to Golf next week and what shape will the courses be in.
Two, Any recommendations on some inexpensive golf.

Whether it will be warm enough to golf depends on your tolerance level and the time of day you want to play. Go to weather.com and enter Phoenix for your "Search" location. Then at the Phoenix page, click on the "10-Day" button to see projected highs and lows for each day.

I think you'll find the courses in great shape. Winter vacationers/golfers are a big deal for Phoenix.

If you are going to golf at the JW Mariott, the Par and Pamper package is a good deal. 5 rounds of golf or spa treatments for $550. It is expensive, but a lot less than the golf course normally charge.

Where are details on the Par & Pamper package?
The only one I find are room rates.

We had great luck with golfnow.com in March. We got Wildfire for $47 booked the day before. Sigh up with them and they will send e-mails of available courses every morning if you have a laptop with you.

Hi - how did you make out with your golf plans? I own at Canyon Villas and will make my first visit there at the end of April (Apr 25 to May 2). I've golfed in Scottsdale area a number of times and was wondering if you were able to get any discounts on the Marriott courses through the concierge?

Golf

I took the tour and got the free round of golf.
Also took some lesson with my wife (pro is great guy, ask for the one who is a long drive competitor)

We were so busy doing other stuff (Car auction etc..) that only had the two days.

golfnow.com had some good rates however.

I would suggest using the concierge over at the JW.
The ones at Villas were usually busy.
