Hi all,
We are going to be cancelling our Westin Kierland one bedroom unit that we had reserved for 2/6-2/17. We have appointments for the Covid vaccine and the return date for the 2nd appointment falls right in the middle of the vacation. At this point, I would rather get the vaccine than go on a vacation. We were really looking forward to this as we have heard many great things about the resort. I don't know if it is rentable, but I will wait a few more days if people think I could rent it.

If it is a StarOption reservation, it can't be rented unless you also own WKV. Given it is also fairly last minute, finding a renter may be difficult.

Have you checked with Vistana to see if you can move the reservation to a week or two later? That may be an option since so many people aren't travelling these days. Good luck.

Best regards.

Right now t would cost you $50 to move the reservation to another week and avoid having Staroptions that have to be used by the end of the year. And most airlines are waiving change fees. Maybe book for a week after your second shot so you have maximum immunity.

I was able to rent both of my mid-March 1Bd WKV (81K SOs) weeks before the 60 day mark for about same as previous years (~$100 less).

Side note: I was not able to rent our WKORV OF studio (81 K SOs) for late February (dropped price 3 times) and had to cancel prior to 60 days, and reserve later in year.
