Never been to the resort, but I used to live in Wisconsin (many years ago) and have been to the Dells before. Obviously things have changed over the years, and winter plus COVID certainly put a different spin on things. Will be travelling with my wife and 18 year old daughter. We have a three bedroom deluxe and will have two different families joining us at different times for short stays. We like to hike, so thinking about Devil's Lake...but haven't been there in a while, and hadn't hiked in the winter - particularly up the rocky parts.

Anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks!

Mirror Lake State Park is closer and is a nice park for hikes.

Also please no rocky hikes at devils lake. Call outs for rescue from falls all summer add some ice and you will fly
