We bought a timeshare for a rock bottom price on eBay. The seller even paid closing. He went into the hole on the deal, but as I understand it, their children are grown and they will no longer use it. (They did not even ask for reimbursement of m/f they had paid).
I'd like to send them a token thank you gift, just because we got such a deal and closing is timely. All I can think of is flowers.
Anything else?

Flowers are nice, but maybe give him something he can really use. I vote for the restaurant gift certificates or fruit baskets are great gifts and I am sure well appreciated!

You could send them a cheesecake from the cheesecake factory. It comes frozen on dry ice and pre-sliced. They can take out pieces and enjoy a little at a time.

We never get to do this because the kids see fedex bring them and expect us to share - what's up with that?
