I had three calls from different companies - Persing LLC , KSL Business Management, and another one I didn't quite catch the name of.

They say they are interested in buying my contract. Something about going public - difficult to tell from their accent and poor phone connection.

KSL Business Management even sent me an email with numbers.

Has anybody else seen this? Sounds very fishy. Question is, why all the sudden interest now?

Sudden interest? This kind of scam involving Mexican timeshares has been going on for years. They just now got around to you!

No one is going to contact a Mexican timeshare owner out of the blue and actually pay thousands of dollars for their timeshare.

Plus, since there were three calls with different company names, I’d be willing to bet it’s the same scammer trying to make you think there’s a lot of interest in your membership.

This is no different than the local car dealer sending you a letter telling you they have a buyer for your car

What you have is worth little or nothing. WHY on earth would anyone show sudden interest in something which is worth little or nothing? Think about it. Keep your hands in your pockets and avoid this obvious scam.

Anyone who makes three calls in the same day clearly think they can pull one over on you. Tell them to pound sand.

FWIW - I played along with one guy. He said that he wanted me to give approve the release of some financial information in New York. A while later, somebody from New York asking for confirmation about release of financial information. I told him, I never gave permission. Later the original guy called back and asked me if I talked to anybody from New York. I feigned ignorance and the original guy said he'll put in another request. Again the same person from New York called asking if I authorized permission. I said no and the guy from New York said he would put a flag on this request. A few minutes later, the original called me back very irate. He said that thanks to me, he lost his job and now his kids will go hungry. I hung up on him. So that's one less scammer out there.

We had a guy in Mazatlan a few years ago trying to get us to go to a presentation, saw him a couple of times during the week. He used that his kids will go hungry line on us...ticked off my wife.

Ive heard of radio stations cold calling with cash prizes
But there’s a catch there too I suppose?

You may have to know an answer to some trivia question

Right. Like 'What radio station are you listening to?'

Several in the Minneapolis area would randomly call people and if they guessed the correct dollar amount in the jackpot it was theirs
Google it
Cash call
