Sorry, for another thread about the Kindle. Last month I purchased the Kindle DX (love the big screen). I can now read while working out on the elliptical machine, which is great!

I really enjoy reading Louis L'Amour books and was wondering what is the cheapest way to download them?

I've already checked my library, and they don't have any in e-format.

All Kindle goes through Amazon, even the library loans.

Just go to Amazon and type Louis L'Amour in the search window. I found pages and pages of 'em, and if you like Westerns, there are a bunch of free Zane Grey novels. The LL ones averaged about $5. A favorite source of mine is www.dailycheapreads.com They spotlight different books every day for $5 or less.

Thanks for the information Jim. That's the problem, I don't want to pay $5!

I'll keep an eye on the other web site.

Another great website that for free books for the kindle is http://www.pixelofink.com/
They have all types and typically list 5-10 free books or daily deals everyday. It will take you right to amazon for your free download.
