Are we foolish to think about looking for a t/s trade between now and early April since life as we know it here in Ohio is at a standstill? Pretty much all is shut down including libraries, our exercise classes, my part-time job, DH's hospital volunteering...so would it make sense to take a road trip to a timeshare for a week? My big worry would be the cleanliness of the unit and the health conditions of the previous occupants since mid-February.

Thoughts?

I’m sure you will have plenty of options. My concern would be the same as yours. You have no way of knowing who stayed there or how well it was cleaned. Plus, dealing with all the common areas around a resort. Since I‘m over 65, I’m going to give it a few weeks to play out before testing the waters. My daughter and her 2 best friends rescheduled a trip to New Orleans from next week to mid-May.

I have a trip schedule to Destin Majestic Sun April 4-8. Today, I’m still planning to go. We’ll see where things stand in a couple weeks.

I am well over 65 but just looked to see if there was anything in SW Florida (there is not). I can see going for a week, bringing my food, and just sitting on the beach with a good book. they have canceled just about everything going on around me.

I’m just planning on sitting on the balcony and walking on the beach. I would eat out at restaurants bit I’m thinking there probably won’t be a lot of people there so it might be a good time to get away and it wouldn’t be a big risk.
