Hi there I was looking to get a getaway in palm springs in september at one of the mariott resorts. It was around $550 for a 2bdm full kitchen about 3 weeks ago. i just looked again and they've jumped up to $1048!!!!!!! how is this possible? will they come back down? never happened to me before. TIA

My guess is they may have been low to get rid of excess inventory and now that they have, the prices have increased. For a while you could catch a Palm Springs in Sept with an AC...but not anymore. Still a bunch for Aug though. Keep an eye on it...they ma come down again. II systems can be glitchy.

I checked ii getaways a minute ago for DSV1 and DSV2. The prices for a 2 BR are in the range of $497 tpo $597 in Sept. If you are a platinum member, subtract $50.

So, it appears that it was a temporary glitch. It is probably a good time to "pull the trigger" before they go up again.
