Does anyone have Geico insurance and are you happy with it? I just received out renewal policies for out vehicles and they went up $64.00. Geico is quoting a much lower price.

If a company is one of the big 5 or 6, I just look at price figuring the chance of a claim is small anyway. So if GEICO will save you decent bucks I wouldn't hesitate to go with them. Note that I am not a GEICO policy holder. My insurance is with State Farm.

I've had Geico for over 11 years now. When we have had a claim it has been resolved quickly. Great customer service.:)

My daughter has had it for a few years. So far so good. When she needed to call they answered the phone as well as her needs. Someone hit my mailbox during some bad weather. They were stuck on my mailbox so the police had to come. Geico was his insurance company. They were Excellent paying me back for the mailbox and labor to hire someone to do it. I do NOT have Geico as I like having an agent- Although I pay a lot more then my daughter does.

I had always heard awful things about Geico it will be interesting to see what others post.

We changed to Geico 6 months ago because the cost was so much less. We have had one claim already and it was resolved very easily. We have no complaints, yet!

We have had Geico for 12 years and have been very happy with them, their customer service has been excellent. When our car was damaged during Hurricane Wilma, they very quickly got the car into a prime shop, had it totally repaired and repainted. They came out inspected the car and made shop repaint it, they were not happy with the first paint job. That's customer service. They could have just totaled car and give us actual cash value because of the age of the car, 6 years old, but they didn't because it had such low mileage and was very well maintained. When I needed a tow last year, the lady stayed on phone with me at work, DH at home and made sure they picked up the car and took it to shop of my choice for repair. She wanted to be sure I was taken care of promptly. She then folowed up with call to make sure I was happy with their service. We have the roadside assistance package for $10 year. It has more than paid for itself. I can get cheaper insurance, but with Geico, I just seem to have peace of mind with them.

Ive been with GEICO off and on since I started to drive 50 years ago. Id leave for a better price but I always come back for the service.(and price) I cant remember the last claim I had, so I cant really speak to that part of the business

If it makes any difference, Warren Buffet owns Geico now

We have had Geico for about 15 years. We have never had a problem or complaint with Geico and their customer service is great. I would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family.

I had Geico for many years and only switched because another company has an agreement with the company I work for. I get a discounted rate and my payments are a payroll deduction.
