My partner says the traffic is horrible there and is reluctant to go. What have you been seeing for moving on the main routes?

Also what is the weather like when it’s so hot where we are near Atlanta. Thanks!

The weather forcast for that week projects Gatlinburg to be 5 to 7 degrees cooler. GTS is on the upper end of Gatlinburg close to the National Park entrance. It will probably be even up to 5 degrees cooler in the mountains. Gatlinburg is walkable from this resort (save big on parking) and it is located on the way to Nature Trail road on a one way loop into the edges of the Park. If you like to hike there are several trails off of this less traveled road. The main roads will be crowded on the weekends, but there are ways the avoid the main roads for the most part.
