Gatlinburg Town Square--3 bedroom?

Does anyone know anything about the 3-bedroom units at Gatlinburg Town Square? How do they compare to a 2-bedroom unit? What size beds are in each room? Are they lockout units or true 3-bedroom units? The 2-bedroom I had earlier this year was kinda a studio plus 1 bedroom lock-out unit, but the studio didn't have a kitchenette. I have 3 little kids and wondering if there will be a door to the exterior right next to their bed.

I've tried searching the site, but don't see much about the 3-bedrooms other than they are on the 6th floor. I assume that info is still current since it doesn't appear to have been renovated lately. I had an AC exchange request in for a few months that got confirmed over the phone and I have 24 hours to cancel. I have only received the payment confirmation and not the exchange confirmation, so I can't see the bed configurations. Any info on the 3-bedroom will be much appreciated!

It's been several years since we've been to GTS and, when we were there, we were in a 2 bedroom lock-off unit. As I remember it, I recall the 3 bedroom units being in the first section and I believe they were true 3 bedroom units, not lock-off units. I believe GTS was built in 3 phases and I'm not 100% sure it was all built under the same management company.

I have a photo album of the property but, it's old, so it's definitely outdated. The best thing about GTS IMO is it's location in reference to the town and the entrance to The Great Smokey Mountain National Park. Otherwise it was an unremarkable resort not worthy of the gold crown rating I.I. had given it at the time.

I completely agree with you. Based on your pictures, it looks like you had a nicer room than I had last time. We had a "big bird yellow" bathroom paint that didn't go with the not-so-bad granite counters. I really wanted to go buy a can of paint for them. LOL! My parents have owned at Bent Creek for decades, so if we want a nice resort we go there. :) We are looking for something cheaper and GTS meets that criteria. Thanks for the other info on the Resort.
