Gateaway prices for Marriott on II

Hi

Does anyone know whey Marriott TS units, in Europe atleast, have gone up so much recently? Earlier this year it was around £200-£250 pw off season but it is around £500 for Jan/Feb/Mar which is off season too!

These figures are for 3 Spanish resorts.

This happened recently to me when looking at getaways in Palm Springs area where we buy getaways couple times a year. I know what the prices have historically been and when I saw a sudden jump in prices beginning in Mid-October, I thought it must be a mistake. That's shoulder season and they were going for twice what they should have been. I kept looking and within a couple of weeks the "mistakes" seemed to adjust themselves and the prices came back down to what they had previously been.

Still, I was looking at getaways for Marriott Marbella and for such a nice resort, those prices still are a bargain!!!
