Sorry about your cancer bout. Yes, gas was over $4 per gallon in 2008. I had a long commute at that time and needed a full tank often.I may be incorrect, but seems like gas was only two dollars a gallon during COVID and was more like three dollars a gallon before COVID started.
I needed cancer treatment starting in 2008 and had to go quite a ways for specialists. Gas ranged from 4.09 to 4.49 when I started Treatment In 2008.
Still $6.07 here on Molokai.
