I know I appreciate The Far Side, when I had my own moment for an idea for a cartoon for him. I was horseback riding and my horse stuck his head too close to the bush and got a bush in his eye. He stopped and blinked a lot. So I am sitting there, and first thing I thought of was how funny it would be to have a Larson cartoon of a horse trying to put in a contact lens, with only hooves.

Not a Gary Larson, but a Herman panel. This is absolutely my favorite cartoon ever drawn. It still makes me laugh.

It took me a while to figure it out. Too funny. 7 Dwarfs.

I guess you did notice the mail box, name is S White, and then counted the lumps. Too funny.

Took me awhile too, because I didn't pay attention to the mailbox at first. That subtlety elevates the humor. Like the piranha cartoon. It took me awhile to catch that the first time I saw it.
