Galveston Seaside vs Beach Resort

Which resort in Galveston would you recommend? That signature building at the seaside location looks pretty nice. But the Beach Resort looks nice as well. Thoughts from someone that has been to both?

Galveston Beach Resort all the way. Closer to town and shopping. All units have some ocean view. Nice pool.

Seaside is further down the road, so not as close to town. If not signature, all buildings are across the main street. Signature building is ocean front and ocean view, but cost a lot of points.

I have not even tried to stay at seaside, and I would not having beach resort so close.
