You can find some long, narrated news videos of Galveston here. They were taken by a news helicopter reporter and are comprehensive. The one of Seawall is twelve minutes, and there are also others.

The area along Seawall sustained minimal damage. The San Luis Condos and neighboring Holiday Inn are intact as are Landry's and Rainforest Café. Guido's Restaurant is still there. So's Walmart. In another video I saw Moody Gardens, and it appears to be fine as well.

Has anyone seen any videos of Silverleaf's Seaside its just past Jamaica Beach on the west end.

We still have no power so that means no TV.

I heard today that Guido's Restaurant is serving free food to workers on the Island.

That sounds like them. We ate there on our visit to Galveston, and they stressed how long they had been in the community, and what a family business it was.

I *had* heard they came out well. Its good to hear they are helping others.
