Galleon Resort in Key West

A friend of mine offered use of her Galleon Resort villa in Key West next month.

What can folks who have been there (or own there) tell me about it ? Newer resort or older resort?

Worthwhile staying at? Quiet Villas? Plenty of parking? Walk to everything? Any other important information I need to know?

We had a (rare) exchange we had to canx. We were very disappointed, as it's essentially impossible to trade into during winter/spring. It's right in town. You can look on tripadvisor for reviews/photos. I'd be thrilled to get a Match week there!! Key West had a strict indoor mask mandate this winter.

Great location and hard to get.
plenty of parking no, you get one spot and it might not be available. We rarely moved our car when we were there. You a walk to many things but not every thing. It also may be very hot and humid
itis an older resort on the bight, it was redone several years ago. The guest bedroom can get noise from the hallway.
I would d go unless it is just the hotel room, grab a one or two bedroom offer

Go, great, don’t think about it, older resort, renovated, walking distance to everything.

Stayed one time on a trade. Excellent location down town, our unit had a water view! Loved it. Have stayed in Key West several times, at the Hyatt Residence Club Key West, Beach House and you always had to drive to everything. I would take it!

Never stayed there, but it is in a great location I would grab it.

Never stayed, but have been to their Tiki bar. Good specials and service. Close to a lot. Look up the 'LOOP" its free bus service, and there is a stop a couple of blocks away. The one thing I heard was to not stay in the building that is on the road front.
