This is consistent with what I and others in my professional network are seeing. Demand for consumer branded food products is soaring. The market for staples, such as flour, has been languishing for years, as the market has shifted to pre-packaged mixes. Now people are buying flour. But even sales for packaged, ready-to-eat staples, is strong. In the last month I've picked up three new expansion projects - one for a consumer brand frozen potato products company, one for a large grain elevator operator, and one that will be state-of-the-art in processing, sanitation, and worker safety.
