Friends were harassed last month at Palm Beach resort (not Marriott) to go to a timeshare presentation

Just wanted to make you aware, Palm Beach Shores has a very aggressive and rude "parking pass" person who literally yelled at our friends for saying no to the timeshare tour. They were there for a full week last month. They got the worst room as RCI exchangers, and they didn't get any shampoo in their room, so they went down to the front desk to ask for shampoo. The lady at the front desk said the "parking pass" person has the shampoo, so they went to that same woman who told them, essentially, "You didn't go on the timeshare tour, so we don't give the shampoo to those who don't go." Really? You withhold the shampoo? The little tiny bottles of shampoo are a gift for attending the timeshare presentation? They had a bag packed for their Caribbean cruise and didn't want to break into the bag meant for the cruise that contained shampoo/conditioner/soap. They were hoping to use the ones in the unit for the week.

A complaint on Yelp didn't do anything. The general manager just gave the same exact line of, "Best luck on your future travels." I will definitely never go there. I hope those of you who own are disgusted by this woman's behavior.

This particular friend is also a firefighter who retired a few years after Rick from the Denver Fire Dept. You treat people like this, and word will get around. Between Rick and Tom, there are about a couple of hundred firefighter who will know about it.

This couple is so nice. I cannot imagine them being treated in such a way. Makes me angry.

What system is this in? Is this Diamond? The resort itself was very nice.

Horrible! I have been looking online and thought this would be a nice resort to go to. NOT. Thank you for sharing, off my list.

Sadly, the initial tone of treating folks who choose not to attend a TS presentation this way is completely unacceptable.

If they did that to me, I would be equally as rude back.

I have run into a couple of very ignorant “parking pass” folks and have put them in their place right quick.

Our friends own VI points and spent a great deal of points and MF's to stay there in January through RCI. I hope they complain to RCI. I need to mention that to them. They probably did.

No wonder. Longest presentation I have ever attended was at Vacation Villages at Parkway in Orlando. The lady would not let us out of there.
