I posted some questions under MEMBER HELP on the review board for this resort - but how do I actually contact some owners to get more information (where did my "questions" go? & how should I expect to hear a response.....on my personal email...on my TUG messages...on the review board itself?) - I haven't heard anything. Questions like: What type of coffee pot in the room....does it come with enough filters for a pot each day or do I bring filters? (obviously, I hope for a starter pack of coffee and filter...but what about all week - it's got to be cheaper for me to pack 7 filters than buy them); Also soap & shampoo....plenty available if I'm not picky or bring my own? Is there a crockpot available in the unit? Did everyone use the Marriott shopping service or STT Direct (cost comparison)? Thanks

Most people ask questions about a resort here on this page, They use the review pages if thinking of buying there.

Marriott TS generally always provide coffee filters but only one day of coffee (BUT Westin TS generally do not give you filters.) We always bring our own coffee and filters.
Marriott used to provide little shampoo but they have said the're switching to big pump bottles in the showers for soap and shampoo not sure if Frenchman Cove has switched

I never have seen anything like a crock-pot at any TS resort we have visited.

I've never used any shopping service and always go to the store on the way to the resorts.

Hope this helps

Hi, I own at MFC. If you are on Facebook
there are a few owners groups with tons of info you can search but you can ask here too! From what I remember there was a full size coffee pot and starter pack. If you want to know size of filters why not call the resort and ask about that and also shampoo. I don’t remember that either bc I always bring my own and prefer it. Definitely no crockpot in room. Any other questions ask away!

We went to Frenchman's cove soon after it reopened after the hurricane. I got information from Facebook-just type in Marriott Frenchman’s cove. At the time staff was posting and answering questions, and if you click “about” you will see an email address to contact them directly. Guests at the resort post too so if you can find someone there they can fill you in. As far as I remember the coffee used the flat type of filters. I always carry some of them in my luggage, along with some ziplock bags and chip clips, sugar and condiment packets.
My advice is to bring as much food as you can fit in your luggage. Food is expensive and sometimes the supply is not great. I’ve read posts either here or on II about people packing frozen meat. We didn’t go to that extent but we did bring cereal, snacks, coffee, tea, gatorade powder, Nutella, extra sunscreen, etc.

I applied to one of the facebook groups in order to get more information. Thanks for the suggestion Theiggy.

AFAIK guests of the Cove will have access. Dates for reopening keep moving. At least fall 2020 is what I heard in the FB group. You never know what snags they run into though. I saw some pics of the Marriott sign up though! I’m going in April I’ll see if there is any info then.

Regular coffee pot, starter pack coffee and filters. We always bring some of our own coffee, filters, suntan lotion, shampoo, etc. There is some soap for The washer, if you think you will wash a lot bring some extra. There are a couple of delivery services, google St Thomas grocery delivery. We rent a car and go to the grocery ourselves. There is a very small store on site, limited snacks, pastries, stapes, etc.
