Free Vistana Villages: EOY - 67000 StarOptions - FREE 2016 Maintenance Fees

I have a Sheraton Vistana Villages Gold Season, Every odd year, first usage 2017, Bella Section, Star Options pass to new owner, 67000 StarOptions. This is not a lockoff but thats good because the maintenance fees are less.

I will pay the 2016 maintenance fee.

The StarOptions can be combined with your StarOptions.

You can log onto your Acct. at www.mystarcentral.com and look it up.

Or go to the maintenance fee database at the top of the Starwood forum, and look it up.

I found a payment for $702,60 on my December 2014 Credit card bill. I think that is correct.

Just checking -- the MFs are billed every year, yet usage (and the 67,000 StarOptions) are only available every other year. Is that correct?

Half the MF + $30 + the SVN fee is billed every year, and usage is every other year, so $702.60 is the fee every year.

If you add the 67000 StarOptions to your ownership they could give you enough points for a two bedroom prime time-- in the fancier resorts --every other year.

I have had a few inquiries and I wasn't sure of the right answers. So I checked with Starwood. This is the information you will need to make an informed decision.

First use is 2017. The maintenance fees are paid every year. They are 1/2 of the annual maintenance fees paid yearly. The Bella Section is definitely Mandatory for StarOptions to transfer to the new owner.
You would be responsible for the 2016 fees of $702.61 and the closing costs from LT Transfers.

I think the thread got waylaid with conversations about Starwood. This is a really nice resort and it comes with 67000 StarOptions every other year.
