- The Christie Lodge Avon, Colorado
I have a 3BR, 3BA, summer RED week at the Christie Lodge in Avon Colorado available to anyone who wants to take over the ownership and annual maintenance fees. We've owned at the Christie for 25 years, but we just don't use it much anymore. This is deeded real property, registered with Eagle County. There is a small fee to do the title transfer, but no other costs. Maintenance fees are current, no problems with the title, and I have July 4th week reserved for 2021, which is included. Go to their website to get photos and details about the property - it is not 5 star...but it is a very comfortable facility, with kitchen, just updated and fully equipped. Great for a family, with a ton of recreation options in the valley. Beautiful, classic rocky mountain setting. The summer red season is roughly from Memorial Day to Labor Day. You can also trade into winter ski season, and you get 12 owner bonus nights in addition to your annual week, at 60% off the rack rate, to use in any increment or combination. Very flexible. We exchanged with Interval International all over the US and South America.
The Christie has air conditioning, two pools, three hot tubs, in house restaurants and a sporting goods shop, game room, fitness center, conference room, outdoor picnic tables and bbq's. Bike storage lockup, lots of parking. Avon fireworks show on July 3 at Nottingham Lake is the biggest in Colorado - walking distance from the Christie. Great public parks and pool. Free metro bus to Vail, 15 minutes away.
Annual maintenance fees are $910. All costs are included in that amount for the annual week. If you trade into another season there is fee...I think it is $89.
This is not a scam - we just aren't using it now that the kids are grown and the family is scattered. I will be happy to talk live and answer any questions. Let me know. Michael
