Free summer week in a 2 bedroom unit at Smuggler's Notch.

I have owned this week for a long time - great week at a great resort. It's a 2 bedroom unit at Villmarksauna in Smuggler's Notch.

Smuggs is a perfect family getaway resort. My kids are starting to graduate college and the family has outgrown this timeshare.

Our first trip there was when my now almost 16 year old son was 1 1/2 years old. Smuggs is fantastic for families! They have day camps for kids and teenagers as well as day care for toddlers. Parents can have time alone at Smuggs while not having to worry that the kids are having a great time making new friends. They also have art classes and many activities for adults.

Usage will start in 2021. You will be resonsible for the 2021 maintenance fees (approximately $850) and transfer costs. LT Transfers is approximately $250 plus recording fees for Vermont timeshares. We could use any company of your choosing for the transfer.

I wasn't aware they sold stand alone prime weeks. Is it week 27 every year or is it EOY week 27 and the other week an off season float or is it a week 27 along with and additional off season float? Does Villmarksauna have 2 bathrooms or just 1 for a 2 BR?

It is week 27 every year. No off season week attached. Unfortunately, the Smuggs Pass does not transfer with a sale. I am not sure what the cost is for new purchasers.

Best of luck! Villamarksauna is a great location in the village. I don't know the cost for the Smuggs pass but from what I recall it is reasonable.

We are in the process of divesting of our weeks as well, but through the resort. Just got the paperwork in the mail. Owned for 21 years. Bittersweet.

Yes there are annual stand alone prime weeks. Tamaracks has them as well.

As an owner how much does the Smuggs Pass cost you and do you need it?

You only need it if you want access to the many pools at the resort and certain other activities, like guided hikes for example. If you are not interested in swimming or some of the included activities, there are also a lot of fee based activities you can pay for as desired as you go along.

We haven't used our benefits pass in years mainly because we are older and have no children or grandchildren and do things on our own now. But the pass was great to have over the many years of ownership and when our son was young.
