I recently received a letter from Fairfield stating that I will receive a free RCI Membership because I'm a FairShare Plus Member. Will I get a free RCI Membership as long as I own my Fairfield timeshare? Since I have already paid for my RCI Membership until the year 2008, how will this work in my situation? I had no idea I would receive a free RCI Membership until I received this letter!

Yes

Yes, FF will give you RCI membership and since you paid your own membership in advance, that CAN be refunded - but it took me quite a while to get it back. Just keep persistent - FF said it was an RCI problem and RCI said it was a FF problem.

It has to be an RCI responsibility since they are the ones that have your $$!!. Just keep writing.

Yes

If you own Fairshare Plus Points, Fairfield pays for your RCI membership. If you have already paid several years into the future, RCI should refund your money. It did so for us, but it took several weeks.

Your RCI membership is not really FREE. The cost is covered in your maint. Fees. No such thing as a free lunch.

Is the Fairfield RCI membership for your FF resorts only or can you also deposit non-FF properties?

The account will cover all properties you own.
