Hello! I am looking to give away a Raintree Vacation Club membership. Here are the current details:

Type: Point System, Right to Use (I think it expires in 2046 but I am unsure)
Use Frequency: Annual
Annual Point Allotment: 50,000
Current Point Balance: 143,000
Annual Fees (2025): $1,958.00
Next Annual Fee Due: 1/28/2026
Note: For the past few years, RVC has run a promotion where if you pay your annual dues prior to Jan 1, they will give you an additional 20,000 points. I don't believe they are guaranteed to continue that practice through.
Exchanges: I believe it can be deposited into RCI Weeks at no cost, and enrolled in RCI Points for a fee.

There is a $499 transfer fee from RVC.

Update to note that I will pay the transfer fee if anyone wants this timeshare, so it should be free to you (excluding future maintenance fees).

What resorts are in the Raintree Portfolio?
You can see more details here, but I believe Raintree itself has 16 resorts across United States, Canada and Mexico.

Mexico (5 resorts):
Club Regina Cancun
Club Regina Los Cabos
Casa Divina Oaxaca
Club Regina Puerto Vallarta
Villa Vera Puerto Vallarta

Canada (all Whistler, BC Resorts count as 1 "resort"):
Raintree at Aspens
Raintree at Cascade Lodge
Raintree at Ironwood
Raintree at Lake Placid
Raintree at Northstar
Raintree at Powders Edge
Raintree at Snowbird
Raintree at Town Plaza
Raintree at Tyndall Stone
Raintree at Valhalla
Raintree at Village Centre
Raintree at Village Gate House
Raintree at Westin Resort & Spa
Raintree at Whistler Creek
Raintree at Woodrun

United States (10 resorts)
Sandcastle at Birch Bay
Teton Club
Kona Reef
Polo Towers
Cimarron Golf Resort
The Miners Club
Park Plaza
WorldMark Phoenix South Mountain Preserve
Franz Klammer Lodge
The River Club

The image below shows a map of their resorts (blue). Yellow and Red dots indicate partners (Diamond and Bluegreen) that can also be booked.

Royal Holiday Club in Mexico has taken over management of Club Regina resorts in Mexico.
Club Regina Cancun
Club Regina Los Cabos
Club Regina Puerto Vallarta
What that means to Raintree owners? RHC gets to market to you when you're at the above resorts, maybe the OP knows what they get access to in RHC?
What that means to RHC owners? Access to more non All Inclusive resorts in the three resort areas

GENERAL VALUE OF 50,000 RAINTREE POINTS from Chatgpt
Type of Stay Sample Destinations Example Details
1 week in a 1BR unit – Low season Club Regina Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos ~30,000–45,000 points/week
5 nights in a 2BR – Shoulder season Cancun, Los Cabos ~40,000–50,000 points
4–5 weekends per year in studios/1BRs Across Mexico/US ~10,000–15,000 points per weekend
1 week in a 2BR – Peak season Los Cabos or Cancun ~55,000–65,000 points (you’d need to borrow extra)
Multiple short stays (3–4 nights) Lower-demand destinations You could fit 3–4 short getaways per year

If I were in the 'collecting/investing' mode I might take this generous offer, but I'm in the 'divesting' mode.

Here is an example point chart from the member guide. I can't seem to upload the whole PDF due to size limits. But let me know if you want the details for a specific resort.

I called Raintree today and wanted to update the details in the original post:
  • The contract does expire in 2046.
  • The current point balance is actually 93,000, as the original number I posted (143,000) included 50,000 future points that are available to borrow.
I apologize for the mistake in the original post, and I am unable to edit it to correct it.

Hi all, this is still available. Latest details:

Annual Point Allotment: 50,000
Current Point Balance: 123,000 (73,000 current, 50,000 future)
Annual Fees (2026): $2,055.00
Next Annual Fee Due: 1/28/2027

I will pay the $499 transfer fee.

@whackedspinach - Thank you so much for being so forward thinking in posting the map and resorts in 2021! This is super helpful to me in figuring out what changes they're making for Raintree at Royal Holiday. Good luck with your transfer... I am also researching options to escape from the contract.
