For Free is the Point @ Poipu Every Odd Year Floating week. Deeded Unit is for a partial ocean view. The resort is in Kauai, HI. The only cost to the new owner would be for closing/transfer costs.
Please note that there was a special assessment recently which is $2946 for this unit type. I will pay the special assessment of $2000 which is due Jan 2012 and the remainder of $946 would be due Jan 2013 along with the normal maintenance fee of $1400. Maintenance for 2011 is paid and the week has been banked with RCI.
I have been an owner of this resort since 2001 so there is no mortgage/note. Title is free and clear.
My main reason for selling is the costs. Between the maintenance fees, special assessments, & air fare from the east coast it is not affordable anymore. I have two little ones running around and will have to try to save for their college.
