"Free" Marriott Villa on Hilton Head Island

OK, we all know nothing is really "free", right? No cost to take possession of this Marriott Harbour Point at Shelter Cove deeded timeshare week 20. You would be taking over the title to this 2 bedroom spacious, Marriott managed villa on Hilton Head Island. The catch is the annual maintenance fee which is just over $1K per year now. Still not bad for 7 days a year in a really nice unit in a very nice, popular area. Roughly $175 per night for a very nice unit that easily sleeps 6 and looks out on a nice inland estuary. Go in on it with a friend or relative and cut your cost in half. This villa has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large living/family room with a full kitchen on one end of that area. Converse with friends and family while preparing meals. Save money and time by not going to restaurants for every meal. Sorry! It is The Marriott Harbour Point at Shelter Cove property. Week 20. May 16 to May 23rd for 2019. Fixed week. Just edited my original post. Thanks for the heads up.

Another nice bonus with this unit and the Interval International membership is the ability to take an extra week at a very nice resort for between $300 and $400. Have used that feature quite often and was very happy with the units that I stayed in.

The OP posted the name of the Marriott's resort in their first post. Great location and a good trader in Marriott IMHO. The resort is not located on a plantation, but is near a major grocery shopping and retail centers and a Kroger gas station with excess to some good bike trails.

2019 Operating Fee $898.33
2019 Total = $1,342.86

Nice way to get into Marriott. I believe there is no rofr here.

Tempted but just have too many weeks. Need to find a home for a few next year.
