Free Marriott Shadow Ridge - Every other year EVEN Platinum week

I am planning on deeding this back to Marriott but thought I would offer this here in case anyone is interested. This is an every other year (even years) prime week at the Marriott Shadow Ridge in Palm Desert. It is a great resort that you can reserve during the spring or other prime time or it is also a great trader. Marriott will take it off my hands at no cost but they are wanting me to pay the 2025 maint fees. If someone wants this and will pay the transfer fees they can have it. First use would be in 2026 as I have already banked 2024 with my II.

Ok I just researched it again and confirmed it is a 2 bedroom EVEN year Platinum floating week which includes weeks 1-51. Whoever wants to take this off my hands would be responsible for the closing fees and 2025 maint fees but would have use for 2026. This is a lockoff unit so you can split it to a studio and 1 bedroom and get 2 weeks if you want.

You might want to check again. Platinum in Villages does not float weeks 1-51. It only floats 1-21 and weeks 50 and 51. Enclaves floats 1-21 and 45-51.

It's not a terribly high fee for the amazing exchanges we have gotten with our weeks, and we own 3. Renting them for 2026, but 2025 weeks I deposited. Amazing trading power for Pres Week. You really have to own more than one Marriott to get that 13 months out.

We just bought a second home in Palm Desert so I can’t justify having this too. It has been a great trader over the years and I even reserved it for Cochella one year.

Thanks for posting this. This is correct and we are every other year owners so be pay about 1/2 of that each year.

You are correct. But what you state is actually way better than if it were 1-51.
