FREE ownership of July week at Westgate Vac. Villas, Orlando, Fl.
Week 28, a prime summer time to enjoy Orlando parks or Tampa/Sarasota beaches. By paying legal fees only you will be an owner of a fixed high demand July week, readily traded with II or RCI or SFX. My week is fully paid for and all 2012 annual fees and taxes, a total of about $820 fully paid. The developer has no 'right of first refusal' for my week. I will also pay resort transfer fee, the buyer pays legal fees only. Act now.

My answers to your questions:
a) 2012 annual fees and taxes $820, paid in full
b) this week exchanges via RCI, II, SFX as well as via the Westgate internal system. We have exchanged via II into prime resorts in USA, Mexico, St. Martin, Spain, France, etc. I have no experience with RCI points.
c) yes, it is a Gold Crown resort, see www.westgateresorts.com
d) the total cost to the buyer negligible, let's negotiate the terms in private.

How many RCI POINTS DOES THIS CONVERT INTO? HOW MUCH ARE LEGAL FEES?

jboynton,

You are looking for RCI points contract. There is generally an underlying deeded week that determines the number of points you get. With that said, it is possible to convert a fixed week to points but that would not be very cost effective because you pay a steep fee to do the conversion. Be patient and you will find what you are looking for. RCI also allows you to borrow ahead a year on your points so if you got a 92K package with 2012 use you would have acces to this years points as well as next years points.

As already stated, I have no experience in converting into RCI Points. Note another TUGger's opinion on the points conversion issue.

Title transfer and registration costs will depend on your choice of title firm. Some firms take two months, others longer. The resort charges $150 to change their records. As far as I know, all resorts charge a fee.

Please note an Update on week 26, 2012

Given that the title transfer and registration procedures usually take two months or more, I have now deposited week 26, 2012 (June 30 -July 6) with Interval Int'l to protect its future eligibility for exchange (till 2014). The title to that week remains negotiable. After assuming legal rights and obligations the new owner will, of course, have full rights to week 26 starting in 2013.

July Weeks 26 and 28 at Westgate Villas

As of this date both July weeks 26 and 28 at Westgate Villas, Orlando are still available for FREE to good home. There are no 2012 outstanding fees or other obligations. 2013 annual dues (approx. $820 per week) will be due only in Dec. 2012. Both weeks are in a two bdr. two baths, sleep six unit, annual use. The resort charges $150 for title transfer. Any questions ?

For now my week 28, 2012 ( July 14 -21 ) at Westgate Villas, Orlando remains available for use by a new owner. Since I have no plans to use it this summer, its eligibility for future exchange needs to be protected by depositing with Westgate Resorts or with II. Unless I hear from any interested party, I plan to deposit my week 28 with Interval by May 14th.

An update on my offer of FREE July weeks, two bdr. two baths unit at Westgate Vacation Villas, Orlando, Fl.:
Both week 26 and week 28, 2012 have now been deposited with Interval and are available for exchange, subject to availability, till 2014. An Interval exchange fee would apply. Naturally, the new owner would be entitled to request an exchange to suit his/her needs or preferences. No outstanding resort fees for 2012.

FREE JULY WEEKS 26 and 28 at Westgate, Orlando

Here is an update: my July weeks 26 and 28 at Westgate Villas, Orlando are still available FREE to a new home. Week 26 often includes July 4th holiday, a prime time for Orlando vacations. Both weeks are two bdr. two baths, sleep six units, annual use. The resort's $150 title transfer fee will be paid by me. No outstanding fees or other obligations. 2013 annual dues (approx. $820 per week) will be due only Dec.31, 2012. The resort trades with Interval, RCI, SFX as well as via Westgate internal system.
Glad to answer any questions you may have.

I have sent you a direct message today. Indeed, I prefer to discuss details of such matters by direct e-mail. I assume you are familiar with the timeshare trading process and with the trading fees charged by RCI or Interval International or other companies. You may wish to refresh your knowledge by reading appropriate TUG topics.

We used ours as RCI Points for Deposit for the last few years we owned it. Worked great. For a short period Wastegate actually offered the full conversion to RCI Points for these weeks but ended that very quickly. Now you have no option to outright convert it but you do (I hope this still applies) get the PFD option. You may have to work at it just a bit as RCI often identifies it as an RCI Points resort thus ineligible for PFD but if you make them check into it they find it isn't an RCI Points resort now & they do take it as PFD. Just another option to regular RCI weeks trade, SFX & II among others. One of the few Wastegates that has all the options for exchange.

week 26

If week 26 is still available, how would new owner go about using it this year since title transfer could take a couple months. I am interested if I could stay this year.

Sorry, but its too late for any July 2012 week. Occupancy would begin 2013.
