This is a pretty good week at the end of September. It's not too hot or cold then and the summer crowds are gone. It's probably not quite peak foliage in southern Maine, but you can take a beautiful daytrip to the White Mountains or northern Maine where it will be. It's an 80 minute drive from Boston Logan, or 40 minutes from Portland International Jetport. It's unit 101 which is a first floor end unit. There's parking directly in front of the unit and only 2 or 3 steps to get into the unit.

It's great for trading on RCI, II or Trading Places International. We've already deposited 2023, but 2024 is worth 35 TPU's on RCI Weeks. The 2024 maintenance fee is $639. We've used this unit to trade into 2BR units in Kauai, the Big Island, and summer weeks at Glacier, Yellowstone, and Banff that were all in the 28-32 TPU range.

We've owned this unit for 10 years and had always used it to trade. We finally stayed there in 2021 and my wife loved the area. We've now upgraded to a week 36 2BR unit at the Hillcrest Condominiums in Ogunquit so we no longer need this one.

Still available.

This is a great week to either visit Ogunquit or for trading. My brother used to work at a hotel in Bar Harbor, he said the first 2 weeks of August and the first 2 weeks of October were always the busiest weeks there. Week 39 this year was the first week in October and had 3 beach days in the mid-80s.

For anyone not familiar with RCI Weeks, 35 TPU for $639 is a good deal. I've seen a bunch of units taken recently that aren't as good as this. A quick look on RCI weeks and I see 14 resorts in Hawaii with 1 or 2BR units available for 35 TPUs or less. There are at least 26 resorts in Florida where you can get a 1 or 2BR week in Jan. or Feb. this winter where you could book 2 weeks for 17 TPUs or less. There are 20+ resorts in Las Vegas that have 1 or 2BR units in January or February for 10 TPUs or less, including a bunch for 2 TPUs at 4+ star resorts. There are a lot more options in all these locations if you add in hotel and studio units.
