It is a really nice place within walking distance of several restaurants and the beach. The staff is kind and helpful.

Are you sure about the date of your fixed week(Dec. 16-22, 2013)? Dec. 16 is a Monday. As a Spinnaker owner, are you held to the 1 in 4 rule for additional weeks picked up on the RCI site(for example, could you pick up a short dated Spinnaker week on the off year?) What is the trading point value for your week?

I was mistaken with the dates. It is typically check-in Saturday and checkout the next Saturday. As far as I know, we are not held to the 1-in-4 rule. One year we planned to go a week early then decided not to. We asked our parents if they wanted to go instead. They did and all we had to do was call them and give the resort their name and address; there were not any problems at all. We have not tried to pick up a week on the off year, but I would imagine that you would have to pay unless you did not use your week from the odd year and banked it then you could use it. As far as the trading point value, we are not on the point system; we trade weeks for weeks. I had heard that maybe one day they would convert everyone over to the point system.
