But are you guaranteeing that this rolls over to a resale buyer? I'm only asking because I have read many resale buyers that are now very disappointed owners because things like this do not roll over. Also does this his have to pass ROFR?

Where have you read about resale owners not getting access to GPX and being disappointed? Perhaps you are confusing it with HGVC points.

I purchased a resale GPR Seapointe on eBay for $5 and used GPX extensively to book bonus weeks. I decided to give it away last year.

Even though I no longer own, my GPX account is still active, and I am still getting emails about bonus week sales.

I just got off the phone with Grand Pacific Palisades. They informed me that the new owner would get the same benefits I already have (i.e. GPX and RCI).

Thanks for getting back to me. If you and your husband decide to proceed I'll talk to Grand Pacific about getting it in writing that you get the same benefits I currently have so it is guaranteed for you.

One of the best benefits is the same day use. I own at this resort and we have a place in Oceanside so, during summer, we make use of the same day use benefit all the time.

Sorry, a little late to the party. As you found out GPX is free to anyone who owns at Grand Pacific Resorts. I agree with another poster that the confusion is likely with HGVC points. Rules have changed in that HGVC points do not transfer with a resale. HGVC will gladly enroll your currently owned GPP or Seapointe week IF you buy another developer week from them. I do not know with 100% certainty but I believe the HGVC would transfer on resale only if you had a purchased it directly from the developer. If not, I would think it would seriously hurt their sales effort. If anyone is considering a developer week with HGVC that should be an important question to ask them.

Maintenance fee is about 600 per year. the day use will transfer over to the new owners who takes over my ownership
