We have a deeded week (every other year) through Bluegreen at The Suites at Hershey. Mortgage paid in full.

Unit C404, Week #14 E.

2012 dues paid - 1650 points remain in 2012. Annual maintenance fee $530.00.

Also can be used as Bluegreen/RCI 4500 points/yr (granted 9000 every other year - next will be granted Dec 2012). Transfer fee/closing costs negotiable. We've owned this since 2006, used it once (Dec 2012). This program is simply not for us.

Please send me a PM if this is still available. I own with Bluegreen and this would be a nice addition.

This would be over $1000 for a week. What size it is? Does this include club dues that I would not have to pay.

The maintenance fees are $527.50 per year annually, for which you can use either 1) The Suites at Hershey, Week 14, unit C404 or you can have 9000 Bluegreen points toward stays at other resorts. This is the only year we have used it and we chose The Hammocks at Marathon Key in Marathon, FL. This year, we paid an additional $129 for the use of our points at an alternative resort. Different resorts and different times of year demand different points. Our week in FL required 7500 points.

It is kind of confusing, but I think you've got it right - maintenance fees will amount to about $1000 for the use of one week at Hershey or 9000 points toward another resort.

This would be for a Studio at Hershey during week 14, or 9000 points toward some other Bluegreen resort property.

I don't think Hershey has studio's. I thought they were all 2 bedroom.

tschwa2: Thanks for the info. We have never set foot in Hershey you may be correct. We actually bought this thinking we were purchasing at Patrick Henry in Williamsburg, VA. When the deed arrived for Hershey, we were pretty surprised.

Yes they are all 2 bedrooms. You should try it out before you get rid of it. It's a great little town and a nice location for visiting Hershey. :)

Everyone should go their at least once, I live in the Area and it is great resort (I do not own any Bluegreen Properties).Gettysburg is not far away in the way of the World, Three Mile Island is not a real big tourist attraction, but it is in the Harrisburg Area, again not far away. Harrisburg is the state capital and Lancaster (Home of many Amish craftman) is not far.

I ahve been thinking of buying a Hershey timeshare and am confused by this statement. If annual maintanence fees are $527 how does it end up to $1000 for the week?

They're paying that annually for usage very 2 years, i.e., each year they're paying for half of the usage.

Thanks, I missed that it was every other year!

Which brings me to my next question. I am looking at a non-points Hershey timehsare but the maitenance fee is $565 for annual use. Is there a difference in maintenance fees for points verus non-point owners at Hershey?

quite likely. A week not in the BGVC would not be in a BGVC trust that defines maint fees.

Thanks for the confirmation! I just purchased a summer week at Hershey (non points) at a bargain and Bluegreen confirmed maintenance of aprox. $560 annual (annual use).
