I'm really interested. But I'm not timeshare savvy. I'd be very grateful for this. But need more points eventually. Can you combine points from other units? And how easy is it to trade to other Hilton properties.?

You can combine points into one account, but you will have the extra MFs of having 2 contracts instead of one. You can book any other Hilton 9 months or less from check in. If you are serious about staying at Lagoon Tower, 9 months is a tight window. It can be done, but it will take a lot more points and you'll have to book first thing in the morning when the 9 month window opens. This contract wouldn't be good for that, but would be good for many other reasons.
