Purchase Price: Free
Resort: Marriott's Manor Club - Original Historic Building
Location: Williamsburg, VA
Unit Size: 2BR Villa (not a lock-off)
Week: Platinum season, floats 13-43, 48-52
Usage: Annual, begins 2021- Existing 2021 reservation 7/4/21-7/11/21 - This can either be transferred or let it cancel and book your own.
Check in days: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Most Recent Maintenance Fee (2020): $1,494 annual - Next maintenance fee will be due on or shortly after Jan 1, 2021.
Exchange: Interval International (Membership not included)
Closing costs: The recipient will pay for the closing and transfer fees. LT Transfers is the most ideal, but you can choose your own if you prefer.

This is a good solid Marriott preference trader with a reasonable maintenance fee. The original historic section of the resort is rated Elite in II. That said, this is probably not ideal for renting out at a profit or break-even.

I'm interested. Is this good for exchanging with other MVC properties on the beach or mountain? Also, do you know how much MVC charges for transferring ownership once the deed is recorded? Thank you.

Yes it exchanges well. You have to be realistic since you can't exchange for what isn't there. For example the best ski week or the highest demand week on the beach probably isn't going to happen since it is like 100 that what the week vs 1 that might get deposited. For realistic exceptions it exchanges very well.

I believe Marriott charges $120 or $125 total but that will all be part of the closing costs. The total closing costs including everything with LT transfers will be about $400.

If this is still available, I would love this week. I am fine paying the $400.

Thank You! That is very generous.
