My wife and I visited Fort McHenry for the first time on Monday. We highly recommend it.

Anyway, the orientation film in the Visitor's Center ended with an a cappella version of the Star Spangled Banner. Does anyone know who performed it and where we could obtain a copy? My guess would be is that it is one of the service academy's choirs. We neglected to look in the bookstore when we were there. Might have to go back to get it.

Tried Amazon, itunes, etc.

My husband, 17-year-old son and I visited for our first time in July. It was one of our favorite sites on our 4th of July Patriotic trip. I also loved that
a capella version of the Star Spangled Banner, and I also guessed it was a choir from one of the armed services. Sorry I don't know for sure.

if you go to charleston, the ft sumpter cruise is a nice trip. wish they could rip out the unsightly WW1 coastal battery and let the fort go back to a 1865 fort. but we're talking about thousands of tons of concrete to take out and i don't think the NPS's pockets are that deep. look at it on Google Earth or local live. -ken

Great detective work, Sherlock! I spent quite awhile trying to find it last night but couldn't.

I can't take credit. Marty Giggard sent me the phone number of the Fort McHenry Gift Shop. I called them and they told me the name of the CD. Then it was just a Google.
