There have been summers where I spent 2 full summer weeks in Massanutten plus 2-3 long weekends. It might be worth it on those years.

After I picked at this a bit, I actually bought 2 of the special value ski lift season passes from Massanutten before the price went up 11/1. So we may be staying at Massanutten more than usual this winter.

So the waterpark is not included in your trade?

Water park is owned by the developer and run as a for profit/ those that pay subsidize all of the free passes given out by the sales department. Waterpark averages about $50 per person per day (up to $65 per person per day/ no multi day discounts if you buy day of in the summer. IMO in summer when the indoor and outdoor is open and the hours are fairly long it may be worth about $30 per person. Other times of the year it is probably worth about $20 per person. For every person who pays there is probably at least one person who is using comp passes provided by the sales department for going on a tour or as a part of a stay/tour combo.
