Hi all,
Your comments were really helpful when I posted recently about how best to fly from NY-San Diego in June/July. Well, now I know a little more about schedule. We have to be there on Sat. 7/1; so I am thinking we will fly out on Wed. or Thur and home on Sunday, unless I can save money by staying over on Sunday night. Is there a rule of thumb regarding any days that might be less expensive than others?
Surprisingly, I've seen that American Airlines seems to have the lowest-priced nonstop flight; last time I looked it was $338 round trip. Should I book an AA flight now, or wait until Southwest is taking reservations for late June? I'm disapointed that JetBlue is higher; not by a lot, but when you multipy by 4 tickets, the difference about covers a night in the hotel.
Thanks for any/all advice!
Edited to add: checked JetBlue again this morning, and now they ARE a little cheaper than American
