Florida Timeshares reopening?

Which resorts are opening this week? I know broward county isn’t allowing hotel or condo pools open until end of the month at the earliest. Any updates on orlando resorts? Is sitting by the pool for a week possible?

Orange county is allowing it, but a lot are still closed.

They are only allowing for existing reservations I believe. I wonder how things will be by mid June. Wonder if DVC will reopen by then as well

Pools at Marriott's Ocean Pointe and Oceana Palms are open with social distancing recommended. Palm Beach County.

If you go on the Marriott website, they are taking reservations. I just looked into 4th of July, and they offered me several room choices.

Yeah MVC is taking reservations from June 1 on. I was looking for this week. I’m hoping DVC opens mid June

I really hope Bonnet Creek opens their pools. They open 5/26 and their email says amenities closed, but Clearwater Wyndham Grand has their pool open and the Wyndham Grand hotel at Bonnet Creek doesn't say their pool will be closed. They are opening June 1st. I think they should just keep the hot tubs closed since u can't distance yourself in them.

Has anyone called SVV to confirm that the information on the website is accurate? It does seem odd that they have almost everything open where the other resorts in Orlando don't. I may get on the horn with them tomorrow and ask.

I don’t believe much of what’s online. The resorts can be open but no amenities to choose from. Really hoping to find out what’s open. Allowing people to use the room to sleep but keeping everything closed doesn’t sound fun but it sure as heck sounds a lot better than my place I’ve been on for 4 months. I just used 3 award certificates to stay at the grand vista and hope a pool will be open to dip into in between working. I guess I’ll work poolside haha. If an island opens I’ll try to fly there for a week also.

Westagate Vacation Villas/Lakes/Town Center are all open including most amenities. Talked with them today to confirm-we have a "use it or lose it" week and 3 accommodation certificates from depositing our weeks in II (non Westagate TS). Thinking of heading down for 2 weeks-I am work from home - probably through the summer- so why not? Trying to convince the hubs, kids on board, we can even take our dog...
