Does anyone have any experience with flights to St.Thomas in the summer. We would be looking to go out of either Buffalo or Detroit. Thanks,

Flights to St.Thomas/ Summer 2012

Just returned from ST. Thomas - paid as much to fly Spirit as other airlines because my husband waited to book and they had the only reasonable flight times by then. My advice would be to book early so that you have a good choice of flights and prices and DON'T FLY SPIRIT!! I now understand the response my TUG query generated and will never book a flight with them again. I understand that Southwest will be flying to STT after the first of the year so you might want to check with them.
BTW - USVI/BVI is a great vacation place.

We have been looking too for May, 2012... I have a notification set up with Kayak for the dates we need but it hasn't budged.. The travel agent said we should see discounts 2-3 months out from the travel date but as with all airlines.. nothing is guaranteed.. It would be awesome if South West starts flying to STT!
