Is it worth using the points to books flights and cruises and such?

I tried looking on the website but only saw a phone number to call. Is there a place one can look up how many points it would cost to fly or take a cruise?

No it’s a terrible exchange rate. Just use them to stay at Club Wyndham resorts for the best bang for your buck.

I certainly wouldn't buy them for use through the exchange. I don't think you would ever cover the MF. However, if you have point you aren't going to use and you don't feel like messing around renting them, you may find the exchanges useful. I haven't ever actually done the calculations to see if you break even with MF or not though. You can always call and find out what a flight or cruise would cost then do the may. Those calls are not pressured. I have even started them off with, "I am just curious..." and they have always been very polite.

No matter what the sales weasels say, you'll lose money exchanging Wyndham points for anything other than what they're intended for, staying in a Wyndham timeshare.

The exchange rate is the roughly on par with powering your car with cheap whiskey.

It is paying more than double if you consider the cost of maintenance fees on the points being used compared to the actual cost of a airfare or cruise ticket. Horrible way to use points. More Wyndham math it just never adds up.

That's a thing? What about recycled cheap whiskey, I produce a fair amount of that.

One guy said he got two round trip airfare tickets (Newark to Orlando) and a Ford Escape for a week for 300,000 points. At the time, CWA points were $5.99 per 1,000 points plus a 60 cent program fee. The total maintenance fees on 300,000 points would have been $1,977. I was able to find the air far and same Ford Escape rental for $1,200. If you own at a lower maintenance fee resort the difference would be smaller, but you could still get a better return if you find someone who wants to rent those points from you.
