I was just bored and call Hilton to check if they had any resales left at the hilton. They quoted me a price of $28,000 for a 2 bedroom platinum. Then then offered me 2 airline tickes to go with it. Then they offered me 100,000 honor points to go with it. Then they said I could put the whole thing on my ameican express card so I could even get more points. Is that worth the extra $14,000 over a resale?

My wife says no!

I agree with your wife.

You can do a lot of traveling with the $14,000 you will save by buying resale. :)

You can purchase two 7000 pts for that amount and the first year exchange one of them for 161,000 HHonors pts. Plus you can have the extra points every year or the HHonor pts. I don't think the two airline tickets are worth more than that. Sooby

The answer is no, and I am an extremely happy hilton owner.

100,000 points is not a lot. It use to get you 6 nights VIP vacation a places like Hilton Hawaiian Village now it requires something like 170,000 points.

Additionally, are the tickets "anywhere in the continental US." The value of
that would have to be less than $1,000 dollars. Go resale.

I would check ebay and buy either a Flamingo 7000 or 4800, those are the best bank for your buck and Flamingo is the best timeshare in Vegas IMO
