Hmmmf. A 3-day boat ride. No ports. Wel-l-l-l, it's a start. I'm thinking that after it becomes safe for us to fly, a river cruise might be our first 'adventure afloat' We could drive to Portland and cruise to Lewiston, ID, but I've driven that riverside highway waaaay too many times and seen all the sights, so that has zero appeal.

Nice article. It is to be noted that Holland America has sold four (4) of their smaller and older ships.

Holland America is also owned Carnival.

A really nice article that indicates that it’s all about to get better. The ship also ensured social distancing, hopefully more ships will be back in service soon.

Note all was not perfect. Their sister ship had crew with C19. Social distancing is either 1.5 meters or a mask...not what I call acceptable.

Royal Caribbean is reporting a net loss of 1.6 billion dollars for the second quarter.

Royal Carribbean Cruise Line shorten it name to Royal Carribbean some months ago.

The Mein Shiff 2 is the formally Celebrity Cruise Lines ship The Mercury. It has been updated since leaving the Celebrity fleet.

Three-day cruise with no ports, only 3 of 4 ships getting Covid infection. Definitely Not Ready for Prime Time.
