I haven't had fresh sweet corn on the cob in years. The Kaunakakai Elementary School was having a fundraiser, a dozen ears for $10 so we stopped by to give support.

The kids were out front of the school trying to wave people in. They cheered and threw Shaka's as we turned in. They had it set up with a nice drive through. Mokulele Airlines was one of the sponsors and they brought the corn over from Maui.

I was surprised, the corn was excellent with nice sized ears and nice small kernels. Great corn and all for a good cause.🤙🏻

Awww heck, Jeff. When I saw the thread title I thought it was gonna be corn from your lanai! :) Still, coming from Maui is a dynamite deal. We don't get sweet corn here any cheaper. (well, maybe a little) Congrats to the kids.

I was wondering of some would think that.😀

It was a good day to try a few ears. It was an on and off rainy day so we decided not to golf this afternoon. So it turned into a laundry day, bedding and all. We started a pork roast in the slow cooker this morning. The condo is starting to smell pretty good right now. 🤙🏻
