First booking of floating week....need advice

Hi all. The amount of knowledge learned from here over the past 3 months during our purchase has been invaluable. Thanks to all that help so many of us.

So we own a gold garden view at Ocean Watch. It will be our first time booking as we just purchased this a month or two ago. I've activated my account on my-vacationclub.com and looked around and even looked at the booking process. Our window for the week we want starts a week from this Wednesday. We are attempting to book on of the two, non-school weeks in the mid August Gold season at MOW. I'm quite nervous obviously as I'm sure many other gold week owners are shooting for these weeks too!

So to the question. Is there a “best” way to book? Online vs phone? Is there a better check-in day (Friday, Satuday, or Sunday at MOW) to improve odds of getting it? Simply any insight into my first booking process would be so appreciated! I'm concerned Wednesday next week will roll around and I'll be a deer in headlights! Thanks all.

To maximise your options, you should go online and phone just before the opening time then refresh/redial as necessary and go with whichever allows you to confirm first.
All check in dates for a week are released at the same time, so if you have a preference and it is available go with that or take any acceptable alternative.
