So its been about six weeks, but I got my account setup with Marriott. This is a legacy weeks property at Harbour Lake. A couple of quick questions:

If I have an interval account via Hyatt, can I link my Marriortt location to that?
Does Marriott offer any decent discounts to rent additional days/stays or hotel stays?
What are the best Perks that come with my membership beyond my Week?

Thanks!

You can't combine with any corporate account. If you have an interval account that you pay directly (doesn't sound like you do), you could combine. Otherwise you need to open a separate Interval account.

You get Marriott priority when exchanging through Interval. That is about the only perk.

There may be a small discount vs rack rate as a Marriott legacy owner when booking Marriott vacation properties through Marriott.com (but very capacity controlled and still $300 plus oer night for midweek off season hilton head so I didn't find particularly useful) but nothing on hotels.

Hi...Marriot priority through Interval is a big perk...that perk has allowed for many many great Marriot exchanges over the years..I also have owned at Harbor Lake for many years....it’s been a very good trader

I second what gln60 says- I have also had many great exchanges using my Harbour Lake.

If you book an MVC resort through Marriott.com you get a discount for being an MVC owner. I am at the lowest level of ownership and my code is 7vc which entered under ‘special rates’ ‘corporate promo’.

I don't think you can with Hyatt though I don't know for sure but I do know of at least one corporate account where you can add non corporate weeks to though it is an RCI corporate account.

I've gotten some decent discounts using this code, just don't expect it at prime resorts or times. Worked for Orlando for me a couple of times.
