We are going to Fiji next summer. We are starting on a 7 day cruise around the Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands. After that, we would like to stay in a resort on the Mamanuca Islands for 7-10 days. I narrowed it down to 3 resorts. The first two are very good values and 4 star resorts in the heart of the Mamanucas. The third one is twice the cost but one of the most upscale 5 star resorts in the area - it borders the Mamanucas and Yasawas.

I am wondering if anyone has stayed in resorts in this area and if you have any recommendations. The ship will drop us off at the first two resorts. The third one we would need to go back to the mainland and take their private charter to their resort - a lot of extra $$ and more time. So the first two are attractive in saving time and money.

We are pretty knowledgeable about the resorts on the mainland. I know where we would stay there if we wanted to be on the mainland so I am inquiring about the resorts in the Mamanucas.

I used Bonvoy points to book a stay at Sheraton Tokoriki this upcoming September. 32,500 points per night, fifth night free. From the reviews, it looks like a good mid-range option. Not a $10 per night village stay, and not a $10,000 per night high-end luxury either.

I heard Tokoriki is a great island. I was considering it but the room choices with kids is limited. Otherwise, it sounds like a fantastic choice. Many nice resorts in Fiji are adults only or they limit the room choices with kids.

Booked a 225-acre private island family-oriented resort on the border of the Mamanuca and Yasawa islands after our cruise (25% off promotion). There are 3 miles of white sand beaches to walk on. On one side, it’s the Mamanucas and on the other side, it is the Yasawas. Arriving by helicopter (the price of an excursion). It will be a once in a lifetime vacation with our girls.
