Can someone please advise us if there is anyway to get out of a Festiva Adventure Club contract? We are active duty military and cannot seem to find time to use this.

We are paid in full and we are not using it. We don't want to keep paying the maint. fees forever.

They have agreed to let us out of the contract if we pay three years worth of fees which equals $1500. I would prefer not to do this.

Any advice y'all have is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

If Festiva is offering to take it back if you pay 3 years' m/f or $1500, I think you should grab it. That is, unless you have a lot of patience and are willing to post ads and try to sell it for whatever you can get for it ($1 or so??).

Note: I admit I'm not that familiar with Festiva, but since even nice resorts aren't selling too well, I'd guess it would be worth the $1500 to give it back and save yourself a lot of headache and probably next year's maintenance fees.

1. Try selling it to family or friends or associates.
2. Try posting it on Craigs List, Tugs Market Place, and Redweek at your desired asking price.
3. If your Base/Post has a newspaper that accepts ads, place an add there.
4. If you are Stateside, place an add in the local newspaper.
5. Rent it on a three year written right to use lease with family, friends, etc. that you trust if you may want to use it in the future.
6. If your sales efforts do not work, then I would absolutly take the resort up on taking it back for $1,500 dollars.
