Aloha,

I've read some older reviews about Time Share Nation that we're favorable. I reached out re: a listing at HGVC on the BLVD that I'd like. I'm an existing HGVC owner at that property, looking to add points. The ad listed a two bedroom (5,000 point eoy-even) and the maint. fee was $1,086. The offer letter I received indicated that usage starts in 2020 (which isn't important to me, but it was a bonus). I signed the offer letter.

Fast forward a day later, I receive an email from them stating they made a couple of errors. Usage starts in 2022 and the maint fee is now $1,239. These errors have me a little nervous. Is this company reputable? Are these truly oversights or do they not know what they are doing? I'd love to hear your feedback (especially if you've purchased from them recently).

They’ve been very good to me.

I've had good experience with them, but one thing to bear in mind is that TSN is more of an aggregator than an actual broker for those. Once you have replied to them that you're interested and fill in the offer letter, it gets turned over to the actual broker or disposal company to finish up the transaction. I'm awaiting transfer of a WorldMark contract I got through them; the company it is coming through is timeshareequityservice.com, whose website explains that they disposition TS that are accepted by resorts as "trade ins" for developer sales. I've also seen TS listed there that closely matched ones I'd seen listed on eBay by some brokers that also use TUG. Bottom line is to do your due diligence and check the estoppel to verify the details about the TS you're getting - it is free to start out with after all, including the transfer costs.

One other thought, many of the listings stay on there for quite a while and the one you wanted might have been on there since 2018 without being updated. That could also explain the change in the first year of use.

This transaction is finally complete. As promised, no fees were charged and the contract was added to my Hilton account. We signed documents with TS Nation on April 22 and the contract was added to my account on October 28th. Unfortunately, they transferred the wrong property to me. I signed a contract for a unit at HGVC on the BLVD and they transferred HGVC on Paradise. I even checked the address on the contract....
